We fell in love with a sheltie mix we named Bosco there was level of sweetness and calmness that you could only hope for in a puppy. A few weeks later, after Bosco began to display some undesirable traits, beyond typical "puppy behavior," we found out that his sedateness was more a result of him being "fixed" only a day before adopting him. As the weeks progressed, his behavior issues, specifically the nipping and biting, graduated to become a significant problem. It felt like we were living in his house - not the other way around.
